To use the lure, cast it out into the water and retrieve it with a quick jerking motion. You can also use it to troll for fish by attaching it to a line that is towed behind a boat.
When casting, I like to use a slow, erratic retrieve with plenty of pauses. This will cause the lure to “walk” across the surface of the water and tempt nearby fish to strike.
For trolling, I recommend a fast, steady retrieve that will keep the lure skating across the surface.
Other anglers prefer to use Tasmanian Devils as subsurface lures, letting them sink down before retrieving them back towards the surface. This technique can be especially effective when targeting larger predatory fish.
To use the Tasmanian Devil lure, you will need to attach it to the end of your line. Then, cast it out into the water and reel it in slowly. Be sure to twitch the lure occasionally to make it look more realistic.
